Speak Out
Learn to scream and shout
Give your teachers headaches
if that's what it takes
State you're not the only one
And what you have to say has just begun
Find a comrade; start a riot
Make a stand, destroy the quiet
Help yourself by helping another
Find the truth by going undercover
Then speak out and out and out
Learn to scream; learn to shout

Thanks to Luke Welsh for this poem

Power of the pen tackles bullying

Young members of a Findhorn Foundation-based club have come up with an original anti-bullying weapon. Moray Art Centre's Manga Club has created the 'Manga-zine' - a new Japanese style comic-book aimed to help fight bullying.

The magazine contains strips dealing with physical, psychological and online bullying. It also features a story looking at the issue from the bully's perspective.

Mr Maxwell said this can be useful for victims. "If you can understand how a bully thinks it helps you understand why they do it," he said.

All of the stories and artwork featured in the publication were produced by club members. "Quite a few of us used personal experiences, or ones from people close to us," said Mr Maxwell.
